Shuven™ is an independent, founder-led dietary supplement brand built on a gut-first approach to daily wellness. Founded in 2025 as CalmGut, renamed Shuven in 2026, and based in the United States, Shuven develops and sells its formulas directly to customers at shuven.co. The brand's range of dietary supplements is designed around a single idea: that lasting wellness starts in the gut and extends outward to nearly every system it touches. Modern research continues to highlight the central role the gut plays in digestion, nervous system balance, stress response, sleep quality, energy regulation, and overall well-being. Rather than isolating one symptom at a time, Shuven focuses on supporting these interconnected systems, beginning with digestive balance and reaching outward through the gut-brain connection. That philosophy shapes every formula we make, from foundational digestive support to daily balance stacks.

Most supplements are built to chase a single symptom. Shuven is built the other way around. The gut sits upstream of so much of how you feel day to day (your energy, your focus, your mood, how well you sleep) that supporting it well tends to pay off across the board rather than in one narrow place. This is why our formulas are designed to work with the body's own systems rather than override them, and why we favor gentle, consistent support over aggressive intervention. The goal isn't a dramatic short-term effect. It's a stable foundation you can build on over months and years.

The gut and brain are in constant, two-way communication through a network of nerves, hormones, and immune signals known as the gut-brain axis. This connection influences digestive comfort, stress response, calm, focus, mental clarity, sleep quality, and circadian rhythm.

A growing body of research describes how this axis links the gut and brain through neural, endocrine, and immune pathways, and how shifts in gut bacteria can drive systemic inflammation that reaches the brain. Reviews of the gut-brain axis also describe how a weakened intestinal barrier can allow inflammatory signals into circulation, with downstream effects on how clearly we think and feel. If you want the deeper version of this, our guide to the science of the gut-brain axis walks through the mechanisms in detail. Shuven formulas are designed to gently support this connection through ingredients studied or traditionally used to promote digestive ease, calm, and daily balance.

The most direct expression of that philosophy is Shuven Reset, our foundational gut lining support formula, built to support the gut environment the rest of the body depends on.

This restraint is also what allows Shuven products to be layered together without overwhelming the body, a deliberate choice that supports the full gut-brain axis approach rather than working against it. Shuven is currently in pre-launch. Every formula will be produced under FDA dietary supplement current Good Manufacturing Practice rules (21 CFR Part 111), and every production batch will be third-party tested for identity, potency, and purity before it ships. The aim is simple: what's on the label is what's in the bottle. Shuven products are not designed as quick fixes or aggressive interventions.
